Sertissage mécanique

Mechanical setting

for medium and large series, sdh first of all offers a preparation for crimping machined with machining centers. this high-precision operation reduces production cost and run time. also, it makes it possible to work with "hard" materials such as stainless steel, steel and many others, leaving a perfectly smooth and shiny surface.

SDH offers in some cases a manual resumption of machining (thread) in order to reduce the mechanical aspect of the machines and respect certain quality criteria "for example the lifting of angles". Also the laying of the stones and the beading of the grains is done manually.

This technique, which has the advantage of benefiting from mechanical preparation,  consists of placing the stones in the base made beforehand by the machining centers and folding the "grain" material over the stones in order to hold them permanently in their housing, and this for hundreds of years.
