COMPUTER-AIDED MANUFACTURING OR "CAM" ALLOWS TO CREATE A PROGRAM WHICH WILL BE USED THEN TO CONTROL MACHINES WITH NUMERICAL CONTROLS COMMONLY CALLED "MCN". IT IS THUS POSSIBLE TO CREATE CHOICES AND TOOL PATHS BY DEFINING THEIR FEEDRATE, ROTATION, HOUSING, ETC.

This method, which we master perfectly, allows us to check the machining methods and to graphically reproduce a volume visualization in a precise manner before validating the manufacture . Each work step can be saved in a chronological order giving the possibility to return at any time (even years later) to a work step and to undertake modifications.

Machining simulation

the machining simulation is a graphical interface that allows you to view the results of digital calculations by synthetic image. this process makes it possible to remove material from a part designed beforehand in 3d mode (cao)

It is a virtual representation of the program that will be executed on the machine downstream of the CAM and thus allows our operators to control the behavior of the  tools and the movements of the axes. Widely used when it is a question of machining in 5 simultaneous axes and when the tool must machine perpendicular to the surface, which is often the case for a preparation for crimping or engravings on concave surfaces, we systematically launch a simulation 3D before the production of the part is launched in real production.
